Kimi's Guide to the Fine Print
client-friendly glossary:
just a little guide to what all the official stuff means — because contracts shouldn’t be scary!
Relationship of the Parties
official: Stationer is an independent business and has the right to manage how the services are delivered.
real talk: Kimi’s got this. She’s the creative brain and the boss behind the scenes — but she might bring in her trusted team to help out, if needed.
Cost, Fees & Payment
official: Total payment amounts and deadlines must be met according to the agreement.
real talk: This is how much everything costs and when you need to pay. No surprises — pinky promise.
Late Fees
official: There’s a 1.5% fee for every day your payment is late after the grace period.
real talk: If you ghost me on payments, the invoice gets a little sassier every day. Let’s keep things on time and good vibes only.
Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
official: Stationer is not responsible for any damages or loss after shipping, pickup, or delivery. Client must confirm details, cover any special requests, and inspect the items upon receiving.
real talk: Once it leaves my hands — whether I ship it, deliver it, or you pick it up — it’s all yours to love and take care of. I’ll make sure it’s perfect when it goes out, you keep it safe once it’s with you!
Style Release
official: Stationer will work in their own style and creative direction, and results may vary.
real talk: You’re hiring me for a reason! You’ve seen my work and trust my vibe — and I promise to bring that same magic to your project, with your inspo in mind.
Proofs & Approval
official: Client is responsible for final approval of proofs and will be charged for changes after approval.
real talk: This is the moment to double-check everything before it goes to print! Once you give the thumbs up, we’re goin’ live — so no changes after that without extra costs.
Intellectual Property
official: Stationer retains copyright unless otherwise stated. Client may not alter or sell the work.
real talk: You get to enjoy and share the beautiful work I made for you — just don’t remix it or resell it without chatting with me first!
Cancellation or Rescheduling
official: Client must give notice if canceling or rescheduling. No refunds for prior payments.
real talk: If something comes up and you need to change the plan, just let me know with a little heads-up! But I can’t refund anything already paid — time and materials have already gone into it.
